The war engines of the Aegean Elves are not crude instruments of brute force — they are precision instruments of annihilation, engineered over centuries to strike with surgical lethality at ranges that leave the enemy no recourse but despair. The Ballista crew work in cold, practised silence, loading and loosing with the rhythm of a civilisation that has been killing things from a distance since before most races learned to walk upright.

A single bolt from an Aegean Ballista can punch through armour, flesh, and bone and still have enough force to pin the wreckage to the earth behind it. The crew find this entirely unremarkable.
