The Mycenaean Guard are the prestige heavy infantry of the Aegean Elves — warriors drawn from the oldest noble houses of the coast, equipped with the finest bronze armour the ancient forges can produce, and trained to a standard that makes the Sea Guard look like a starting point. They hold the centre of the battle line with an authority that comes not from stubbornness but from the absolute certainty that nothing the enemy has brought today is going to move them. They have been right about this for a very long time.

Fielded in units of 10 or 20 with full command, the Mycenaean Guard form the immovable, prestigious core of any Aegean Elves warband — the unit that anchors the line while everything else decides the battle around it.
