Nobody knows exactly what the Dark Knights are. Not anymore. They ride out of the shadow of Transilvanya's forests in silence, armoured in black plate that seems to absorb the light around them, on horses that make no sound and leave no tracks. They were not raised like the skeletons. They were not turned like the Vampire Knights. They simply appeared, answering a call that nobody else could hear, and they have ridden for the Count ever since. The enemy sees them coming and feels something older than fear — something that bypasses reason entirely and goes straight to the part of the mind that knows, with absolute certainty, that it is time to run.

Sculpted by Highland Miniatures as part of the Transilvanya Army Collection, the Dark Knights are a mysterious and terrifying heavy cavalry regiment for any Vampire Count or undead fantasy wargaming army. Available in units of 5 or 10 — shadowy strike force or full dark cavalcade, they ride where the Count commands.
