The Ancient Guard on Crypt Serpents are the most terrifying cavalry the Eternal Dynasties can field — undying warriors of a forgotten age, mounted upon vast serpentine creatures that were entombed alongside their riders and have now been called back to serve once more. They do not tire. They do not break. They simply advance, and the ground trembles beneath the weight of something that should not exist.

Fielded in units of 3, these monstrous cavalry anchor the Eternal Dynasties battle line with an authority that no living cavalry can match — because living cavalry, at least, can be frightened. These cannot.
