Not every warrior of the Sewer Rats fights for faith or glory. The Vermin Thugs fight because it is all they know — hired blades, gang enforcers, and pit fighters dragged from the underbelly of the city and pointed at the enemy. They are crude, violent, and devastatingly effective at close quarters.

Where the Acolytes overwhelm with numbers and the Vanguard hold the line, the Thugs simply wade in and start breaking things. And they are very, very good at it.
