Sunland Volley Gun — Sunland Army Collection
The Great Cannon fires one shot at a time, which the engineers of Sunland considered a fundamental design flaw. The Volley Gun fires many shots at a time — simultaneously, in a spread pattern, at whatever is unfortunate enough to be standing in front of it. Is it accurate? Debatable. Is it safe? The crew have opinions on this. Is it devastatingly effective at discouraging an infantry advance? Absolutely, unconditionally, and with considerable enthusiasm. The Volley Gun is what happens when Sunland's finest engineering minds ask themselves not “how do we hit the target?” but “how do we hit everything near the target?”
Sculpted by Highland Miniatures as part of the Sunland Human Army Collection, the Volley Gun is a characterful and hard-hitting war machine for any Empire or Germanic-style fantasy wargaming army. Available as the gun alone, with crew, with terrain, or in combination — build the battery that suits your battlefield.
